Aadil Ahmed, MD

Board-Certified Dermatopathologist and Pathologist

Dr. Aadil Ahmed is a board-certified pathologist with subspecialty certifications in dermatopathology and hematopathology. A medical graduate of Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Dr. Ahmed did a post-doctorate at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and a residency in anatomical and clinical pathology at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Ahmed went on to do fellowships in hematopathology at Yale University and dermatopathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. In addition to his passion for routine dermatopathology, his background in hematopathology gives him additional diagnostic expertise in skin lymphomas. Dr. Ahmed is well-published, has won several national awards, and sits on multiple committees of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Dermatopathology.

Dr. Ahmed also holds an adjunct appointment as an assistant professor in the department of pathology and laboratory medicine at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine where he continues to be involved in education and research activities. Outside of work, he enjoys CrossFit and traveling.
